in the quiet

Broke the Reuben phase when I ran out of cornbeef. I only bought 2lbs, It could only stretch so far. I went in search of bison dogs at my local grocery and couldn't find any. I've been having a hankering to add some kraut to them. I still have a jar left. Unfortunately no bison available. So what's a hungry gal to do... Instead I bought some ground chicken breast. Wowsers have you seen the price tag on that, $$$. I picked up some miracle rice at the health food store, added some salsa, a little seasoning, and some Tex Mex with a sprinkle of cheese. Yumm! That's what I will be nibbling on until it runs out. Awesome dish that goes down easy with little chewing. Plus it warms you up, a bonus!

Also picked up some rootbeer stevia extract. I'm going to be playing around to see what I can add this into. Cream of wheat comes to mind, so does Fage. Any ideas? Coffee, maybe?

Breakfast has consistantly been something hot or nothing at all if my apetite hasn't arrived. Which happens more than not. Lunch has been casual of what I can usaully grab from the fridge, usually leftovers. Often though it's a mix of breakfast and lunch, then a small snack, and followed by dinner. So today for instance I had a 3 oz sausage patty by 1 1/2 serving of cream wheat sweetened with stevia extract and creamed with a tad of butter, made with water. Then I had a small bowl (1cup) of leftover cheesy chicken mac n' cheese made with yogurt and a clementine for snacking on with an ounce of roasted nuts. Followed by chicken mexi cali rice for supper, recipe above. Pretty typical eats.

Changing subject.. Weather has been very nice. I've been out sunning myself. And feeling very fortunate that I've been able to do so.

Haven't been very active of late. Been thinking about some things I would like to see accomplished in fitness goals this year. Now I should make a list and knock them down!

Weight has been maintained at same level as 12 months ago. Health seems okay, just that I have been lazy with just sunning myself and letting my mind wander.

I've been distracted by someone who runs 5 miles, 4-5 times a week, weighs less than 150,  and thinks they could possibly be the dreaded FAT. I am wishing this wasn't so. My heart hurts for them.

I still can't run a single mile. But hey I can walk it and then some! One of my goals, still, is to run one. And where there's one...

Nothing currently to add as a note of that's awesome. Just post it notes along the way.

Hope the weather is nice your way and your belly is full, but most of all - there's a smile on your face.
